Susan

Standing at the foot of her grave, so beautiful is she
Standing in her silken gown, staring back at me

I fear the tears that I may cry
Will mean to her a final goodbye

Yet she smiles with such Heavenly grace
A golden halo surrounding her face

I feel a sudden calming peace
To know my sister is within my reach

She lay down with such sweet display
As I knelt next to her to pray

That one day I may again see her face
And feel the warmth of her embrace.
